35 years of building players
Our founder and head coach, Anthony Hunia, spent two decades developing young players at Heretaunga and Upper Hutt Colleges, founded the Upper Hutt Primary Schools Mini Ball League, and took the Hutt Valley U16 boys to the New Zealand National Championships. Since 2010 he has coached JPL and Division 1 in Canberra, and now leads Elite.
Tough but fair. Technical skill first. A culture that gets juniors ready for senior basketball.
